I am in almost constant need of a way to soothe sore muscles, and prefer to rely on natural remedies whenever possible. I make myself turmeric milk or turmeric tea almost every day -- it's supposed to be super anti-inflammatory, so I figure it's got to help me somehow. When I'm feeling particularly stiff, I draw an epsom salt bath. It might all be in my head, but I'm convinced my methods really work.
I stopped by the new Naturopathica store recently and found/couldn't resist these two products, mainly for two reasons: 1 - they prove that I was onto something with my methods, and 2 - they totally improve upon them. The packaging helped, and the buzz I had from the matcha latte (with house-made cashew milk, huge bonus points to them for that) probably did, too.
I add a few drops of the Turmeric Muscle and Joint Tincture (sadly, not available online) to whatever tisane I make myself in the afternoon. It's super concentrated, so I'm convinced I'm getting more benefits than I was from just steeping fresh turmeric. Again, it might all be in my head, but I think this stuff helps.
The Magnesium Bath Flakes are a huge upgrade from epsom salts. First, they're pretty. They also smell nice. More importantly, they make me feel so relaxed, almost sedated, after taking a bath. Very helpful for when I have trouble sleeping. I save these for times when I need serious relief.
